An epitaph is a commemorative inscription on a tomb or mortuary monument written in praise, or reflecting the life, of a deceased person. It is sometimes written by the person to be used on his/her gravestone, and sometimes put on gravestones by others in the voice of the deceased.
BENITA DE LEON VILLARUZ,
She was her grandchildren's muse.
A mother, a sister, a friend, a mentor, a grandmother.
A lady who was like no other.
Whenever we go to your favorite place,
we always imagine Lola Bening's smiling face.
How we wish we could turn back the clock.
If it's the only way we can have you back.
We were by your side until your last breath,
Everyone was at grief because of your death.
You may be gone but you'll forever remain,
In our hearts, in our minds, we've let go of the pain.
Our dear Lola, we thank you
For all the care and advice given, we love you.
Your memories will always be in our heart.
This keepsake will never let us apart.
